**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Assistance in research relating to the taxation of global economies.
- In-depth technical analysis of the DTAAs & the consequent withholding tax impact on customer & vendor contracts.
- Tax optimization analysis from the perspective of operating in various regions (treaty vs. non-treaty countries).
- Analysis of domestic withholding of various countries.
- Assistance in tax analysis for M&A-related activities of the company.
- Preparation, coordination, and review of information for income tax and WHT filings for the group companies.
- Assist in working on effective tax rates to maintain the most optimal tax rate. This will involve assisting in implementing global tax initiatives including transfer pricing.
- Manage taxation and compliance requirements, reporting, and related filing for all the entities in the group.
- Work on the computation of income & filing of ITR for the group entities.
- Assisting in routine direct & indirect tax projects of the group.
- Being up-to-date on any legislative changes & implementing the same on a real-time basis, to the extent possible.

**Required Skills**:

- Qualification: Qualified CA.
- YOE: 2-3 years.
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets and presentations.
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks.
- Has working knowledge of direct & indirect taxation.
- Must be willing to get his/her hands dirty to achieve the objective.
- Comfortable with fast-paced growth and ambiguity.
- Self-driven with an attitude to own up.
- Should be strong in communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Should be a team player.
