**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Generation and Prospecting**:
- Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, referrals, and lead generation.
- Research and identify customer needs, market trends, and competition in the region.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and set appointments to meet with potential clients.
- **Customer Engagement and Relationship Building**:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
- Conduct in-person sales presentations, product demos, and discussions to engage customers and drive sales.
- Understand customer pain points and tailor solutions that meet their needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any concerns or complaints.
- **Sales Negotiation and Closing**:
- Present product/service features and benefits to prospects, explaining how the product or service meets their specific needs.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, close sales, and meet sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, client interactions, and opportunities.
- **Sales Reporting and Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of sales activities, including contact information, meetings, proposals, and agreements.
- Submit regular reports on sales progress, opportunities, and achievements to management.
- **Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis**:
- Gather market insights and competitor data to support decision-making and sales strategy.
- Monitor industry trends and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the customer service and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and post-sales support.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields can be an advantage.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in sales, especially in a field-based role, is preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and basic office tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and trust with customers.
**Working Conditions**:
- **Location**: Field-based, with frequent travel within a designated region.
- **Work Hours**: Typically full-time, with flexibility depending on client schedules and meetings.
- **Compensation**: Often includes a base salary plus commission based on sales performance. Bonuses or incentives may also apply.
