**Responsibilities -**
- Customs Clearance Documents: The department is responsible for preparing and submitting the necessary documents to customs authorities to clear goods for import or export. This may include documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required documentation.
- Customs Duty: The Imports and Logistics department is responsible for managing customs duties related to company imports. This includes determining the applicable duties based on the type and value of the goods being imported, as well as preparing and submitting the necessary documentation to customs authorities.
- Bill of Entry: The department is also responsible for preparing and submitting the bill of entry, which is a document that outlines the details of the goods being imported, including the quantity, value, and nature of the goods.
- Air Waybill (AWB): The department is responsible for managing the air waybill (AWB), which is a document that outlines the details of a shipment being transported by air, including the origin, destination, and contents of the shipment.
- Labeling: The department is responsible for ensuring that imported goods are properly labeled, including ensuring that labels meet local requirements and regulations.
- Planning: The department is responsible for planning and coordinating the logistics of imports and exports, including determining the most efficient and cost-effective transportation methods and coordinating with vendors, carriers, and customs authorities as needed.
- Domestic and International Freight: The department is responsible for managing the transportation of goods within the country (domestic freight) and internationally (international freight). This includes selecting and coordinating with carriers, as well as managing any required documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Budgeting: The department is responsible for developing and managing the budget for imports and logistics activities, including forecasting costs and revenue and monitoring actual performance against budget.
- Coordination: The department is responsible for coordinating the various activities involved in the logistics of imports and exports, including purchasing, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery. This includes working closely with other departments within the company, as well as with external vendors and carriers
- Timely Clearance: The department is responsible for ensuring that imported goods are cleared by customs authorities in a timely manner, in order to avoid delays or additional costs such as demurrage
- Demurrage: The department is responsible for managing any demurrage charges that may be incurred as a result of delays in the clearance of imported goods. This includes identifying the cause of the delay and working to resolve the issue in order to minimize costs.

Customer Satisfaction: The department is responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied with the logistics of their purchases, including the timely delivery of goods and the smooth clearance of customs. This may involve communicating with customers to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
