Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Motor and Transformer Inspection:

- Conduct thorough inspections of motors and transformers during various project phases, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, codes, and standards.
- Verify proper connections, insulation, grounding, and wiring of motors and transformers.
- Perform detailed tests and assessments to ensure the optimal functionality and efficiency of these critical components.

EX Atmosphere Expertise:

- Verify the proper selection and installation of EX-rated equipment and materials.

Commissioning and Testing:

- Oversee commissioning processes, ensuring motors, transformers, and associated instrumentation are integrated and function as intended.
- Conduct functional tests, performance evaluations, and calibration of equipment to confirm their proper operation.

Quality Control and Assurance:

- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that motors, transformers, and related systems meet established standards and project requirements.
- Identify defects, discrepancies, or deviations in the installation process and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Safety Compliance:

- Enforce stringent safety protocols and guidelines in compliance with EX atmosphere requirements and industry best practices.
- Identify potential hazards and risks associated with electrical installations in hazardous environments and collaborate on effective mitigation strategies.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Generate comprehensive reports outlining inspection results, deviations, and recommendations.

Field Expertise:

- Leverage extensive field experience to make informed decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide practical solutions in real-world scenarios.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout projects.

Professional Development:

- Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to E&I systems, EX atmospheres, and quality control.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Minimum of years of E&I inspection experience with a focus on motors, transformers, EX-rated installations, and quality control.
- In-depth understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC) and EX atmosphere requirements (ATEX, IECEx).
- Certifications such as CompEx or equivalent in hazardous area competency are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
