Redis Administrator

**Role**: Contract, Remote

**Salary**: 80K PM

**Description**
- Your expertise will contribute to the seamless performance and reliability of our caching and real-time data processing capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Redis servers and clusters across various environments.
- Monitor performance metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues affecting Redis performance and availability.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities through effective clustering and replication strategies.
- Automate routine administrative tasks to improve efficiency and reliability of Redis operations.
- Develop comprehensive documentation on system configurations, procedures, and best practices for Redis administration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development teams and other stakeholders on Redis usage and optimization.

**Required Skills**:

- Overall experience of 5 years and minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Redis in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Redis architecture, data types, and replication mechanisms.
- Experience with high availability setups, such as Redis Sentinel or Redis Cluster.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation of tasks and processes.
- Knowledge of network and data security practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques for Redis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Redis certification.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with other database technologies and NoSQL stores.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
