We are seeking a qualified and experienced **English Teacher **to join our team at a CBSE school in Mumbai.

**Qualifications**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the CBSE curriculum
- Teach students the fundamentals of English language, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Introduce students to a variety of literary genres, texts, and authors, and facilitate discussions to enhance their critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate and express their ideas.
- Assess student learning through regular quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences, such as multimedia resources, educational software, and online platforms.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, academic performance, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, including attendance records, grading criteria, and disciplinary guidelines.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in English education, and continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English literature, education, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification recognized by the CBSE board.
- Previous experience teaching English to secondary school students, preferably in a CBSE or similar curriculum setting.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Passion for literature and language teaching, and a commitment to student success.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability, creativity, and a willingness to collaborate with others in a dynamic educational environment.

**An Immediate Joiner would be preferred**
