This role will span across line functions at TCIL. This role will be a key contributor towards theconversion of business in MICE while collaborating with various departments to increase theproductivity and efficiencies.This management cadre role will be responsible to increase the profit margin by redefining the existing line of products. This role will be responsible to create and drive people and process toachieve department objectives.Purpose of Role
1. Achieve set revenue targets on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis and optimize cost
2. Client Management
3. Adherence to operational procedures
4. Adherence to the compliance and audit requirements as defined by the Company
5. Contribute in achieving Gross Operating Profit for the business and EBIT targets for the region
6. Closely monitor tour operating cost and service levelsPurpose of Role
7. Introduce/Guide the Procurement team to tie up with set of new panels of Supplier(Hotels/DMCs/Attractions/Event Companies etc.) to source quotes
8. Research and develop innovative products then training the frontline on the same
9. Set guidelines and TATs for the team to secure services and client requirements
10. Ensure the team is aligned and assist sales to cater to customer requirements with optimumsolutions and in timely manner
11. Continuous focus to be maintained on enhancing margins (on files being operated) post sales
12. Ensure systems updates are consistent and updated with all the relevant costs
13. Encourage team to have continuous communication with branches and suppliers to ensure theRooming list/Menus/Venue confirmations and Logistics activities are carried out smoothly
14. Ensure that the Tour Manager allotment activities are done keeping product quality in mind andwith utmost fairness
15. Encourage team to take ownership to ensure that on-ground commitments fromSuppliers/Hotel and Clients are met
16. Payments to suppliers to be monitored and processed
17. Ensure that file closures are done online and within time
18. Continuous feedback to/from the supply chain to enhance quality of output
19. Ensure profitability and customer satisfaction on all files
20. Ensure that the team is exposed to destination trainings to enhance their knowledge andbecome universally skilled to manage all destinations. GST reconciliation on quarterly basis as applicable for the role
21. Software training and knowledge sharing on regular basis
22. To maintain cordial relations with all Embassies, VFS, Vendors and Tourism boards asapplicable for the role
23. Closely monitor internal team coordination - visa, airline, FX, accounts, sales and control thedashboard everyday as applicable for the role
**Salary**: ₹1,100,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
