Smartv Architect

**Role and Responsibilities**:
**As Smart TV Architect**:

- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure that code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and APIs, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring that team members are trained and capable of delivering high-quality code

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
**Must-Have**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of SmartTV platform development, including architecture, APIs, and libraries
- Experience with software design patterns, such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
- Experience with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of software design principles and UX best practices
- Good understanding of Focus management on TV (building custom libraries for focus or any third-party libraries)
- Experience or Knowledge in generating and developing builds for different flavours of smart TVs like LG, Tizen, Hisense, Netrange, Zeasn, Samsung, Vidaa, Whale OS

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience of working in Media and Communication/broadcast business domain
