Position Summary
Edrington Middle East & Africa are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the team in the role of Demand Planner, based in India. The Demand Planner is responsible for managing the Edrington Middle East, Africa & India (MEAI) demand planning process and for optimising the supply availability by aligning supply chain activities with market demand, target service levels and levels of forecast accuracy for the India market. Through close collaboration with Commercial team, Commercial finance, Marketing, Supply Chain and Customers make sure all business inputs and constraints are reflected in the demand plan.
Job Description
Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, key responsibilities for this role include:

- Understand business model, supply chain, logistics network, brands, market sectors and key customers
- Understand demand planning responsibilities, processes, system, key points of contact and how to positively influence Key Performance Indicators
- Develop effective demand forecast (minimum 18 months) for the full portfolio considering commercial input, market knowledge, and customer history trends, depletions and wish list (customer forecast)
- Manage monthly pre-CBP calls with MEAI team, analysing YTD view, providing information and advice which will aid decisions and actions to be taken, and whilst supporting regional CBP processes
- Prepare KPI’s such as forecast accuracy, supply availability and perform root cause analysis on deviations
- Accountable for weekly and/or monthly review with customers including demand monitoring, stock levels, forecast accuracy and agreeing new rolling forecast
- Monitor weekly and report important changes in in-market sales forecasts, customer stock levels and the impact on shipment forecasts
- Review allocations weekly, adjust and manage accordingly along with providing allocation update reporting when required
- Responsible for loading forecasts into SAP APO weekly, APO Master Data cleansing/maintenance along with SKU Master Data management
- Responsible for compiling the weekly sales, Gap to Go, Allocation Consumption, SC KPIs and Dashboard reports
- Accountable for data gathering, consolidating and analysing in-market sales, stock levels and rolling stock projection for India while also implementing scenario planning model
