Resident Medical Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**:
- Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients from newborns to adolescents, diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions.
- Perform physical exams, assess health conditions, and order necessary diagnostic tests for pediatric patients.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as required, ensuring appropriate dosages and monitoring for side effects.
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations according to current guidelines.
- Offer guidance and counseling to parents and caregivers regarding child development, health concerns, and preventive care.
- **Medical Documentation & Record-Keeping**:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care and informed decision-making.
- Review and update medical records during routine visits, special procedures, or hospitalizations.
- **Diagnosis and Treatment**:
- Diagnose and manage common pediatric diseases and conditions, including infections, respiratory illnesses, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, and developmental or growth concerns.
- Treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions, providing appropriate interventions.
- Work with the multidisciplinary healthcare team (nurses, specialists, etc.) to develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
- **Preventive Care and Education**:
- Provide preventive care, including growth and developmental assessments, routine health screenings, and vaccination programs.
- Counsel parents on proper nutrition, childhood safety, developmental milestones, and behavioral health.
- Educate families on lifestyle choices and preventive measures to promote long-term health and well-being.
- **Collaboration & Teamwork**:
- Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, medical professionals, and hospital staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary, ensuring proper follow-up.
- Participate in case discussions, review meetings, and continuous medical education activities to enhance medical knowledge and skills.
- **Emergency Care**:
- Provide immediate medical attention for pediatric emergencies, including acute injuries, respiratory distress, infections, and allergic reactions.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required by the healthcare facility.
- **Professional Development**:
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in pediatrics by attending medical conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs.
- Engage in self-directed learning to improve clinical knowledge and skills.
**Required Qualifications**:
- **Education**: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from a recognized institution.
- **Certification**: Valid medical license to practice medicine in [Location/Country].
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in pediatrics, ideally in a hospital, clinic, or pediatric practice setting.
- **Skills**:
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and healthcare team members.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Should have MMC Registration Certificate (mandatory)
Pay: ₹65,395.13 - ₹79,329.67 per month
