As a Construction Equipment Mechanic, your primary responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of various heavy machinery and equipment used in construction projects. You will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of construction equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity on job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, cranes, loaders, and trucks. This includes inspecting, lubricating, and adjusting mechanical parts to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with construction equipment. Conduct necessary repairs and replacements of faulty parts to restore equipment to proper working condition.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prevent costly breakdowns. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on each piece of equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks. Conduct safety inspections on equipment to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Equipment Testing: Conduct tests and evaluations on repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety before returning them to service. Verify that all systems are operating correctly and perform necessary adjustments as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repairs. Order replacement parts as needed to ensure timely repairs and minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment repair preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other components commonly found in construction equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment manuals, and technical resources to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and reliability in equipment maintenance and repair.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
