Job Description Government Liaison Officer (District and State Level)
Job Summary: As a Government Liaison Officer at GiftAbled, you will play a crucial role in
establishing and maintaining effective communication channels between our organization
and governmental bodies at the district and state levels. Your primary responsibility will be
to facilitate coordination, build relationships, and advocate for the interests of GiftAbled
within the government framework. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations,
promote our initiatives, and enhance our reputation in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Government Relations:
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with district and state government
agencies, officials, and representatives.
- Stay informed about local/state-level legislative and regulatory developments
pertinent to GiftAbled activities and objectives.
- Advocate for GiftAbled interests and provide insights on policy matters affecting our
initiatives in the respective districts and states.
- Advocate and get the things done for DDRS scheme and Registration of GiftAbled in
DDS at district and state level
- Serve as the primary liaison between GiftAbled and district/state government
entities, facilitating seamless communication channels.
- Organize and oversee meetings, briefings, and events involving government officials
and stakeholders in collaboration with internal teams.
- Ensure timely dissemination of pertinent information regarding government policies,
regulations, and initiatives to internal stakeholders.
- Registration of GiftAbled on government portals
2.Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Keep abreast of all applicable local/state laws, regulations, and compliance
requirements relevant to GiftAbled operations.
- Assist in ensuring GiftAbled compliance with district/state-level regulations and
reporting obligations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments on compliance-related
matters specific to the districts and states of operation.
3. Policy Analysis and Development:
- Analyse proposed local/state-level legislation, regulations, and government policies
to evaluate potential impacts on GiftAbled activities.
- Formulate recommendations on advocacy strategies and responses to proposed
changes in regulations or policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop policy positions and advocacy initiatives
tailored to district/state-level contexts.
4.Public Affairs and Reputation Management:
- Support initiatives to bolster GiftAbled reputation and public image through
engagement with district/state government stakeholders.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests for information from
district/state government agencies.
- Assist in managing issues and crises related to government relations at the
district/state level, working to mitigate risks and safeguard GiftAbled interests.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Business
Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 05 years’ experience in government relations, public affairs, lobbying, or similar
roles, preferably at the district or state level.
- Thorough understanding of district/state government structures, processes, and
regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
