**Job Description: RMO - Night Shift (ICU Experience)**
**Ashtvinayak Hospital, Rasayni Branch**

**Position Title**: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) - Night Shift (ICU)
**Location**: Ashtvinayak Hospital, Rasayni Branch, Raigad
**Shift Timing**: Night Shift (Fixed hours)
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **ICU Patient Monitoring & Care**:

- Oversee and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring continuous care.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and other necessary treatments as prescribed by senior doctors.
- Track vital signs, manage life-support equipment, and respond to any medical emergencies within the ICU.
- Regularly assess patients' condition, adjusting treatment protocols in consultation with attending consultants.
- **Clinical Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely updates of patient status.
- Document all procedures, treatments, and interactions with patients for medical records.
- Prepare daily reports for senior consultants or specialists regarding patient progress, complications, or changes in condition.
- **Emergency Care**:

- Provide immediate medical intervention in the event of sudden health deteriorations or emergencies, including CPR and first aid if required.
- Coordinate with the hospital team for necessary emergency interventions or referrals.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with ICU consultants, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with the medical team for case discussions and updates.
- **Patient Family Interaction**:

- Communicate with patients' families regarding the condition of their loved ones, providing clear and compassionate updates on treatment progress.
- **ICU Equipment & Inventory**:

- Assist with the management and maintenance of ICU equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly.
- Ensure proper inventory of medications and ICU supplies.
- **Other Duties**:

- Assist in medical procedures, such as intubation, catheter placement, and wound care under the supervision of consultants.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care.

**Qualifications**:

- **Degree**: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an ICU setting or critical care.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of ICU care, life-support equipment, and critical care management.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies and perform life-saving procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in critical situations.

**Required Certifications**:

- Valid Medical License to practice in India.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Additional ICU training or certifications (such as in critical care) are a plus.
