**Job Summary**:
A shadow teacher provides one-on-one support to a student with special needs or learning challenges in a mainstream classroom. The role involves facilitating the student's academic, social, and behavioral development while promoting independence and integration with peers.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Individualized Support**:

- Assist the student in understanding and completing classroom assignments.
- Adapt and modify instructional materials to meet the student's needs.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- **Behavioral Support**:

- Monitor and manage the student's behavior according to the established guidelines.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate behavior.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- **Academic Assistance**:

- Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups.
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure the student stays on task.
- Support the student in developing effective study habits and organizational skills.
- **Social Integration**:

- Facilitate social interactions between the student and their peers.
- Encourage participation in group activities and collaborative projects.
- Assist in developing the student's social skills and self-esteem.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders regarding the student’s progress and any concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and IEP reviews.
- Document and report on the student’s daily activities, progress, and any incidents.
- **Professional Development**:

- Attend training sessions and workshops related to special education and student support.
- Stay informed about the latest educational strategies and tools for supporting students with special needs.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- B.tech
- M.tech
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is highly desirable.
- Experience in an educational setting is a plus.
- 2 & Above year experience
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of various disabilities and learning disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, or restraining when necessary.
- Stamina to keep up with the physical demands of an active school environment.

Working Conditions:

- Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting, but may also include other school environments such as playgrounds, cafeterias, and field trips.
- Occasional exposure to challenging behavior or emotional outbursts from students.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
