**Purpose**
The "**Instructional Designer**" role is to design effective learning solutions by conducting needs assessments and creating learning assets and journeys across various learning modalities. This role focuses on bridging performance gaps and aligning instructional goals by managing content, developing processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
**Role Description**
- **Needs Assessment**: Design and conduct comprehensive assessments to identify performance gaps and translate them into instructional design goals.
- **Instructional Design**:Develop learning journeys and learning assets in various modalities (ILT,VILT, eLearning, gamification, etc) aligned to various instructional methods and techniques (selfdirected,role play, lecture, action learning, role plays, manuals, job aids, etc.) Create and maintain performance support materials, assessments, knowledge checks, and others in digital based resources
- **Content Management**: Upload, test and maintain content to an LMS/LXP including using Version management. Also, provide train-the-trainer sessions to support implementation of learning solutions
- **Process Management**: Define/Customize processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and methods for leadership development solutions. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to adherence and also driving ongoing improvements.
- **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to evaluate the effectiveness and adoption of learning solutions. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement based on feedback
- **Cultivating a Learning Culture**: Promote a culture of continuous learning and a growth mindset within the organization. Leverage experiential learning to enhance skill development. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of learning and development
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Requirement**
- Hold a Bachelor's/Master’s degree and possess a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in leading Content Design & Development projects in large organizations
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in large scale design, development of end-to-end implementation of learning projects, including the evaluation of impact.
**Demonstrated experience in**:
- Application of various theories, models, and frameworks within Leadership development and the broader learning sciences domain
- Application of various learning modalities, designing blueprints, schematics & visual
representations of L&D solutions
- Application of design thinking and rapid prototyping to the development of learning and talent development solutions.
- Application of formal and informal learning experiences influence and/or support individual and group development.
- Effectively utilizing technology for the design and delivery of learning solution.
- Proficient in various contemporary authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate 360)
- Experience in contemporary HTML technologies, HTML 5, Mobile design, UI/UX, etc.
- Experience in Content management systems, LMS, LXP (SCORM, AICC formats, etc.)
- Preferred certifications include MBTI, Gallup Certified Coach, Hogan, CPLD, Kirkpatrick or equivalent. and/or in Project Management like PMP, Prince, Scrum Master, Agile Coach etc, would be preferred.
- Desirable to have experience in the Manufacturing industry, particularly within areas related to TQM/TPM/Lean environments.
