- Post-graduation in Information Systems/ IT/ Insurance will be an advantage
- 3+ years of IT experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Experience of working in Life Insurance industry will be an advantage
- Understanding of cloud technologies will be an advantage
- Any Project Management certification will be an advantage - PMP, Prince2 or equivalent

**Key Responsibilities**:
Job Purpose
- This is a key position as part of AFLI’s IT Program Management Office (PMO). The key responsibility of this position is to manage delivery from AFLI’s systems integration partners end to end. The incumbent in this position will be based out of Mumbai and work closely with the IT Vendors/Partners/ required stakeholders and members of the IT team. This position requires some amount of domestic travel as and when required to visit the vendors’ offsite offices.
- In this role the incumbent is expected to take the ownership of smooth delivery from all IT partners & vendors including planning and tracking of releases, understanding issues and providing a time effect resolution. A thorough understanding of Project Management practice is a must in this role including estimation, risk management, planning, tracking and monitoring to make sure that the milestones are adhered to.
- Success of this role lies in effective relationship management, hands on approach to project management by thorough understanding of SDLC process, technological know-how and effective communication.

Project Management
- Strong Project Management experience with thorough understanding of project management practices including planning, tracking, risk management, configuration management and change management
- Experience in managing a SI partner, including partnering with SI project managers, and managing against project reports/milestones

Information Technology
- Prior hands on experience with BA, Development, QA etc.

Vendor Management
- Guide vendors in system deployments and debugging of issues post deployment.
- Align vendor resources based on priority of requirement and availability of resources.
- Ensure Steering Committee meetings are conducted
- Monitor vendor performance on periodic frequency.

Industry experience
- Prior experience in managing programs and projects for Insurance Industry
