As a Washing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant's kitchen area by supervising the dishwashing team. You will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and equipment used during food preparation and service are cleaned, sanitized, and stored appropriately. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the dishwashing team, including dishwashers and pot washers.
- Assign tasks to dishwashing staff and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
- Train new staff members on proper dishwashing techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to established guidelines.
- Monitor the proper use of dishwashing equipment, detergents, and sanitizers.
- Inspect cleaned items to verify their quality and cleanliness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and surrounding spaces.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage the flow of dirty dishes and prioritize cleaning tasks.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by dishwashing staff and communicate them to higher management when necessary.
- Assist in other kitchen-related tasks during peak business hours, as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of dishwashing equipment operation, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation standards.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with the kitchen team.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and troubleshooting of dishwashing equipment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy pots, pans, and trays.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals following safety protocols.
