Java Trainer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Training and Instruction**:

- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions on Java microservices.
- Provide hands-on coding demonstrations, workshops, and lab sessions.
- Ensure learners understand microservice architecture, including RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Design and develop comprehensive course content, including lesson plans, presentations, and coding exercises.
- Continuously update the curriculum to reflect the latest trends and technologies in microservices and Java.
- **Mentoring**:

- Offer guidance and support to students, addressing their technical queries and challenges.
- Help students with project work, practical assignments, and case studies.
- **Industry Practices and Tools**:

- Instruct learners in best practices for building, testing, and deploying Java-based microservices.
- Teach relevant tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Develop and administer assessments to measure students' understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to help improve their skills.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with instructional designers and fellow trainers to ensure the training aligns with industry standards.
- Collaborate with industry professionals for guest lectures or specialized sessions.
- **Stay Updated**:

- Keep pace with the latest developments in Java and microservices, ensuring your teaching remains relevant.

**Qualifications**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservice architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and monitoring tools like Prometheus.
- **Experience**:

- Hands-on experience in building and deploying microservices.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience in Java development or software engineering is a plus.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Patience and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Problem-solving skills to assist students with practical issues.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 4 per week
