Packaging Supervisor

**Roles & Responsibility**:
Responsible for timely completion of product packaging / assembly on production line as per dispatch plan.

Responsible for planning Man-Machine-Material for product packaging / assembly line.

Ensure all markings and labels as per customer specification.

Collaborate with logistics and other departments for effectively carrying out activities.

Plan and coordinate mockups.

Guide and train people on packaging line.

Establish test plans for new and available packaging.

Design and develop packaging solutions as per customer requirements, product requirements, customer complaints.

Design packaging solutions considering optimum utilization of space during material handling, shipping and storage.

Ensuring cost effective and efficient materials to protect the product against damage at any stage from factory to customer.

Conceptualization & develop packaging standards, best practices, SOPs and work instructions.

Ensure effective implementation of new packaging.

Drive the implementation of advanced technology in packaging line for smooth work-flow.

To design package considering supply chain and logistics in various transport methods.

Develop and implement product and package tracking system.

Ensure timely development of new packaging.

Adhere to QMS procedures.

Ensure safety and environmental regulations are followed.

**Competencies**:
B. Tech (Packaging)

3-5 years in supervising mass production line (Assembly or Packaging).

Exposure to various packaging technologies and packaging materials.

Knowledge of automated assembly / packaging machines.

Knowledge of various processes followed in supply chain and logistics.

Working experience in ERP (NAV, SAP, etc)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising mass production line: 3 years (required)
