**Job Description Associate Pediatrician**
**Position Summary**:
An Associate Pediatrician works under the supervision of a senior pediatrician or as part of a healthcare team to provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves diagnosing and treating medical conditions, advising on preventive care, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of pediatric patients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**:
- Conduct thorough examinations of infants, children, and adolescents to evaluate their health.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries.
- Monitor growth and development milestones.
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments as necessary.
- **Preventive Healthcare**:
- Administer vaccinations and educate families on immunization schedules.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and exercise for children.
- Offer counseling on developmental and behavioral issues.
- **Collaboration and Consultation**:
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to explain diagnoses, treatments, and preventive measures.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- **Education and Training**:
- Stay updated on advancements in pediatric medicine through continuing education.
- Educate families on managing chronic conditions and promoting healthy lifestyles.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB in Pediatrics or equivalent).
- **License**: Valid medical license to practice as a pediatrician.
- **Experience**: Preferably 1-3 years of experience in pediatrics, but fresh graduates with training are welcome.
- **Skills**:
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience when working with children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month

- Harsul, Aurangabad, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
