QA Incharge

**Purpose of the role**:Our Company is dealing with large no. of vendors and products and all products entering into our system needs to meet MRL, Food Safety and Regulatory requirements. Proactive approach to compliance of materials reaching RPC is of prime importance and tested cleared as per approved specification in ensuring consumer safety and regulatory compliance
- RPC/DC QA In-charge ensures that all incoming products are meeting these requirements and are stored as per recommended guidelines
- DC/RPC QA in-charge ensures implementation of all DC/RPC QA protocols in order to achieve compliance to above requirements
- Working closely with small scale Private Label units, training and developing them to meet MRL requirements
- Training and coaching front line operations people - particularly Store Managers on Store’s Hygiene and House-keeping, FSSAI and W&M, Basic Safety, temperature requirements for sensitive products such as frozen and dairy products, etc

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Periodic audits/monitoring to ensure compliance to MRL, Food Safety and Regulatory requirements in all activities in the Zone
- Check & accept the incoming bulk meeting MRL requirement
- Fumigation compliance for staples
- Follow GMP/GHP practice to comply the hygiene requirement
- Check the packed product for compliance on the MRL & regulatory requirement
- Calibration of RPC lab equipment
- Vendor development for improving Staples quality by regular visiting to the vendor and training them- Timely resolution of customer complaints related to Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory reqts in order to improve customer satisfaction, Preparing & following up for implementation of corrective action plan with respective stakeholders- Imparting effective training for their skill up gradation as per training plan and assess the effectiveness of training & conduct refresher training- Prepare, analyze and communicate MIS reports at regular intervals; support HO on other tasks assigned from time to time- Drive & Implement Safety in the RPC, F&V & store- QA- RPC/DC in charge ensures implementation of all QA Systems and Processes across extended supply chain - RPC/DC ,Private Label Units, F&V Centres, allotted Stores, in their respective Zone and carries out other QA related jobs assigned by the Regional QA incharge
- Ensuring compliance to above with active involvement of all stakeholders as per the timelines where there is frequent rotation of manpower

**Experience & Education**:
- B.Sc or M.Sc agriculture- Must have min 3-4 years of experience in Retail
- Knowledge about the regional Retail Market
