**Reports To**: Regional Sales Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Medical Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. The primary objective is to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned territory.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Product Promotion: Effectively communicate the benefits and features of the company’s products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.**

**Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company for the assigned territory.**

**Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.**

**Market Intelligence: Gather and report information on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.**

**Education: Conduct product presentations, provide educational materials, and support healthcare professionals with scientific information.**

**Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and company guidelines, ensuring ethical practices in all activities.**

**Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of medical representatives, providing guidance, support, and training to achieve sales objectives.**

**Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans for the territory to maximize growth opportunities.**

**Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.**

**Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and increasing market penetration.**

**Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.**

**Budget Management: Manage the sales budget for the territory, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.**

**Qualifications**:
**Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.**

**Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.**

**Skills**:

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Leadership and team management skills (for Area Sales Manager).
