**Job Description**:
The Album Department Assistant Manager will be responsible for both team management and ensuring excellent workmanship through management of the team as well as team coaching and development. This individual is someone who orients to meeting targets without sacrificing customer quality. The right fit for this role is someone who is growth minded while maintaining a level head about the realistic aspects of the work demands. They are the product master of the team and help build the resources needed to align the full workforce to those needs. As a leader in the organization, you will work with the Deputy Manager to bring HQ operational vision and workforce needs together. This position will be a conduit of growth for the entire Album team as well as reporting responsibly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary touchpoint between contributors and business leaders to maintain seamless functioning of the Album Team
- Manage day-to-day team’s operations, planning resource needs, manage workflow, and delivery of tasks
- Accountable for the Album team meeting or exceeding all required KPIs and targets
- Maintain organization for all team members to be properly and efficiently tracked in their productivity
- Oversight of the quality control of all output of the album team
- Run routine training as needed to reaffirm alignment and strengthen teams knowledge of standard procedure
- Quarterly procedure review with targeting improvement plans for systems and team members
- Client Escalation Oversight, sequencing resolution and reducing repeat occurrences of operational fault
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching when needed
- Competency in key team workflows with the ability to assist the team when additional manpower is required
- Ensure all team members get access to the information and support they need on time
- Recommend refinement of processes and procedures for the department
- Be a conduit for the growth and success of the team
- Own the onboarding process and training for new employees
- Work on special projects or perform other duties and tasks as assigned by senior management and business leaders

- 100% Team Member target achievement. Supervision of diverse tasks including but not limited to:
- High Quality album design
- Review and confirm album submissions for completeness and generalized quality standards
- Organization and assessment of album designs to prepare for shipping
- Work with the management team to identify and implement solutions related to processes to drive efficiency across the team
- Create development plans and communicate performance to team members, stressing areas for growth and improvement
- Discover training needs and provide coaching and mentoring to team members, work as design expert, and as people manager
- Motivate team members and help nurture their technical and soft skills and maximize efficiency and productivity
- Identify and recommend areas of refinement in KPIs to maximize team member’s efficiency without compromise on quality
