**About the School**
- Jain Futuristic Academy is an International K -12 School in New Town Kolkata, offering the IGCSE & CBSE Curricula to students.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chess Tutor to join our team.

**Roles & Responsibilities-**
- The primary responsibility is to teach students the fundamentals of chess, including rules, strategies, tactics, and openings. You'll need to tailor your teaching to students at different skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
- Develop structured lesson plans that cover various aspects of chess, such as pawn structures, piece coordination, endgame techniques, etc. Ensure that lessons align with the IGCSE curriculum if applicable.
- Offer one-on-one guidance to students to address their specific strengths and weaknesses. Provide personalized feedback to help students improve their playing skills.
- Coordinate chess tournaments, matches, and other events within the school to foster a sense of competition and camaraderie among students. This could involve scheduling matches, arranging venues, and overseeing the logistics of the events.
- Track the progress of each student over time, assessing their development in terms of strategic thinking, decision-making, and overall chess proficiency. Provide progress reports to students and their parents/guardians as needed.

**Qualifications-**
- A deep understanding of the game of chess is essential. This includes proficiency in chess strategies, tactics, openings, and endgames. Experience playing in tournaments and achieving a certain level of proficiency (e.g., national or international ratings) can be advantageous.
- Prior experience in teaching chess, either formally or informally, is highly desirable. This could include working as a chess coach, conducting chess workshops, or tutoring individual students.
- **Have to be FIDE certified. (mandatory)**:

- The ability to effectively communicate complex chess concepts in a clear and understandable manner is crucial. Good interpersonal skills are also important for building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹22,500.00 per month
