Position: Tele-caller
Tele calling requires you to make sales or fix an appointment for a sales meeting over a phone call. One should be able to convince an existing client or prospect for a certain product or service. Voice is the most critical selling tool in tele-sales; the receiver can detect your demeanor through your voice. This role requires a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to achieving targets.
- Making Outbound Calls: Telecallers are responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, clients, or leads. They may be provided with a list of contacts to reach out to or may need to research and find leads independently.
- Conducting Sales or Marketing Activities: Telecallers often engage in sales or marketing activities, such as promoting products or services, explaining features and benefits, and persuading potential customers to make a purchase or take a desired action.
- Lead Generation: Telecallers may be tasked with generating leads by gathering information from potential customers, qualifying leads, and recording relevant details in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system for further follow-up.
- Customer Service and Support: Telecallers may provide customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This involves actively listening to customers, empathizing with their concerns, and providing appropriate solutions or guidance.
- Product or Service Knowledge: Telecallers need to have a comprehensive understanding of the products or services they are promoting. This includes staying updated on features, pricing, promotions, and any changes or updates to the offerings.
- Achieving Targets: Telecallers are often given targets to meet, such as sales quotas, lead generation goals, or call volume targets. They need to work diligently to meet or exceed these targets through effective communication, persuasion, and sales techniques.
- Maintaining Call Records and Documentation: Telecallers are responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of their calls, including call outcomes, customer information, feedback, and any follow-up actions required. This information helps track progress, analyze data, and improve future interactions.
- Following Scripts and Call Guidelines: Telecallers may be provided with scripts or call guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards. They need to follow these scripts while adapting their communication style to each individual caller.
- Handling Objections and Rejections: Telecallers encounter objections and rejections from potential customers on a regular basis. It is their responsibility to handle these situations professionally, address concerns, overcome objections, and maintain a positive and persuasive approach.
- Continuous Learning and Improvement: Telecallers should continuously enhance their skills and knowledge through training programs, feedback sessions, and self-improvement initiatives. They need to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and effective sales techniques to improve their performance.
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
