**Job Overview**:
The GST Head will oversee all GST-related activities and ensure compliance with the Goods and Services Tax regulations. This role is responsible for handling GST returns, audits, tax planning, and advising on GST implications for various business activities. The GST Head will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective tax management and contribute to strategic tax planning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **GST Compliance and Reporting**:

- Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
- Monitor GST payments and refunds to ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Maintain detailed records for audit purposes and prepare necessary documentation.
- **Advisory and Planning**:

- Advise on GST impact for various business transactions, and provide guidance to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement GST planning strategies to optimize tax liability.
- Stay updated on GST law amendments and provide regular updates to management and staff.
- **Audits and Assessments**:

- Handle GST departmental audits, assessments, and inquiries.
- Prepare responses to GST notices and resolve queries from authorities promptly.
- Coordinate with external consultants and auditors as needed.
- **GST Refund Applications**:

- Track and manage GST refunds, including zero-rated supplies, excess payments, and inverted duty structures.
- Verify all refund claims to ensure completeness and accuracy before submission.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, procurement, and sales to address GST-related issues.
- Serve as the main point of contact for GST-related queries from management and external agencies.
- **Documentation and Systems Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of GST returns, payments, and audits.
- Oversee GST reconciliation processes with accounting records.
- Implement and improve systems and processes for GST compliance.
- **Training and Development**:

- Provide training to internal teams on GST regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ensure the team is updated with the latest GST amendments and practices.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Qualifications**: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CA preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in taxation, with a strong focus on GST.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in GST compliance software, tax filing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

**Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of GST regulations and the latest tax amendments.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage team performance.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
