**Job Description - Theatre Faculty**

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Curriculum Development**:

- Design and develop a comprehensive theatre curriculum that aligns with the school's educational objectives and standards.
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different age groups and skill levels.

2. **Theatre Instruction**:

- Conduct dynamic and interactive theatre classes for students at various grade levels, focusing on acting techniques, stage presence, and storytelling.
- Organize and direct school plays, dramas, and theatrical productions, involving students in both on-stage and backstage roles.

3. **Student Engagement**:

- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages students to explore and express their creativity.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their performances and guide them in developing their artistic abilities.

4. **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate theatre arts into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Work closely with English and Fine Arts departments to enhance the overall artistic and literary development of students.

5. **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Organize and facilitate extracurricular theatre-related activities, such as drama clubs, workshops, and theatre festivals.
- Encourage student participation in regional and national theatre competitions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theatre Arts, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience in teaching theatre at the school level.
- Strong background in acting, directing, and production.
- Passion for nurturing creativity and self-expression in students.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students in their artistic pursuits.
- Organizational and managerial skills for coordinating theatre productions and events.
- Flexibility to work outside regular school hours for rehearsals and events.
