This is a remote position.

The Opportunity

Experience: 6+ months of experience

Nature of Employment: Contract

As an Entertainment Writer, you will be covering scripted content, writing features and news pieces on them.

**Responsibilities**:

- Write 4-5 articles a day.
- Review movies/ TV shows (thorough research skills mandatory).
- Monitor day-to-day sport entertainment news and keep tabs on social media trends, become familiar with Google Trends.
- Pitch interesting story ideas.
- Open to feedback from the editorial team.
- Able to meet deadlines, available for real-time coverage of off field angles and sports entertainment pieces as and when they’re pushed out.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in English/ Journalism/ Mass communication is preferred.
- Has at least 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting.
- Understands industry terms and has previous success in breaking entertainment reporting.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Willing to work in the night shift (7PM to 3AM IST).
