**Supervising Staff**: F&B Captains typically oversee the F&B team, including servers, bartenders, and other staff. They ensure that all staff members are properly trained and motivated to provide excellent service.
- **Customer Service**: Providing exceptional customer service is a top priority. F&B Captains greet guests, take orders, and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- **Menu Knowledge**: They should have a thorough understanding of the resort's food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards. They may need to make recommendations to guests and answer any questions they have about the menu.
- **Order Management**: F&B Captains coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that meals are delivered promptly and accurately. They may also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and placing orders for food and beverage supplies.
- **Quality Control**: They are responsible for ensuring that all food and beverages meet the resort's quality standards. This includes monitoring the presentation of dishes, checking for freshness, and ensuring that all food safety regulations are followed.
- **Training and Development**: F&B Captains may be involved in training new staff members and providing ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff. This could include teaching service techniques, menu knowledge, and customer interaction skills.
- **Scheduling**: They are often responsible for creating and managing staff schedules, ensuring that the resort has adequate coverage during peak times while controlling labor costs.
- **Financial Management**: F&B Captains may assist in budgeting and financial planning for the F&B department. This could involve monitoring expenses, analyzing sales data, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue or reduce costs.
- **Event Management**: Depending on the resort's offerings, F&B Captains may be involved in planning and coordinating special events, such as weddings, banquets, or corporate functions. This could include menu planning, staffing, and logistics coordination.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
