A **Sales MIS Executive** plays a key role in managing, analyzing, and reporting sales data to help the sales and management teams make informed decisions. This role is heavily focused on creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that track the sales team's performance, analyze sales trends, and provide insights into revenue generation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Data Management**:

- Collect and consolidate sales data from various sources (CRM systems, sales teams, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all sales reports.
- Manage databases that track sales activities, targets, and achievements.
- **Sales Reporting & Analysis**:

- Generate regular sales reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) showing key metrics such as sales volumes, revenue, conversion rates, and sales pipeline status.
- Prepare sales reports to meet the specific needs of senior management or stakeholders.
- Analyze sales performance by segment, territory, product, or sales rep and highlight trends or anomalies.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and help track progress against sales targets.
- **Performance Tracking**:

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, comparing actual results to targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Provide insights into sales conversion rates, sales cycle times, average deal sizes, and customer acquisition costs.
- Track and report on individual and team-level, providing feedback and suggesting areas for improvement.
- **Dashboard Creation & Automation**:

- Develop and maintain real-time sales dashboards using tools like Excel, or CRM analytics features.
- Automate the reporting process where possible to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Build customized reports and data visualization tools to present sales data in an easily understandable format for management.
- **Data Interpretation & Insights**:

- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales strategies and decision-making.
- Identify key trends, such as seasonality or product-specific sales performance, and present findings to the management team.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand their requirements and provide insights that will help them improve their sales strategies.
- **Collaboration & Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that sales data is aligned with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure that the sales data is in line with revenue and billing reports.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and senior management, providing necessary reports and insights to aid in strategic planning.

**Skills Required**:

- **Advanced Excel Skills**: Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis) is crucial for data manipulation and reporting.
- **Sales Data Analysis**: Ability to analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and sales forecasts.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accuracy in reporting sales and data.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to find patterns in large datasets and use them to improve sales processes.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Business Acumen**: Understanding of sales processes, key performance metrics, and business strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- A **Bachelor’s degree** or**, Sales, Marketing, or Finance**.
- Previous experience in a sales support or MIS reporting role is typically required (1-3 years).

- **Conversion Rate**: Percentage of leads that are converted into paying customers.
- **Average Deal Size**: The average revenue generated per closed deal.
- **Sales Cycle Length**: The average time taken from the initial customer contact to closing the sale.
- **Sales Rep Performance**: Comparing sales targets vs. actual performance for individual team members.
