**Role and Responsibilities**

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our furniture company as a store executive. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and supporting the overall efficiency of our inventory management processes specific to the furniture industry. Previous experience in inventory management within the furniture sector will enable you to handle the unique challenges and requirements of our industry.

Inventory Monitoring: Regularly monitor furniture inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of products. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.

Stock Replenishment: Coordinate stock replenishment activities for furniture, including generating purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely availability of products.

Furniture Showroom Management: Collaborate with the showroom team to manage the display and organization of furniture inventory, ensuring a visually appealing and customer-friendly environment.

Inventory Audits: Conduct periodic furniture inventory audits to verify physical stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies with system records. Investigate and resolve any identified discrepancies.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date furniture inventory records, including stock receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns. Ensure data integrity in the inventory management system.

Data Analysis: Analyze furniture inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, such as optimizing stock levels, reducing stock outs, and minimizing excess inventory specific to the furniture industry.

System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the furniture inventory management system, including troubleshooting system issues and collaborating with
IT support when necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams specific to furniture operations to ensure smooth inventory management.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding furniture inventory-related matters.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to furniture inventory management, including safety and security protocols.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, stock control, or related roles within the furniture industry.

Proficiency with inventory management systems or software specific to furniture operations is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret furniture inventory data and make informed decisions.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a furniture company setting.

Advanced skills in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating data-driven insights specific to the furniture industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, showroom staff, suppliers, and stakeholders within the furniture sector.

Attention to detail and accuracy in furniture inventory data entry and record keeping.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team within a furniture company environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced furniture industry setting.
