**Job Role**

**Matron** **(Female)-Residential**

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Matron (Female) working with residential children. Should have carried out these key tasks:

- Prepare timetable for children for the week
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure meals are served on time
- Maintain Inventory of supplies & handle issue of raw materials
- Work together as a team with other Matrons
- Should speak English, Kannada, Tamil or Telugu
- Should be able to read and write English
- Work with under-privileged children (who are Hearing impaired and physically challenged)
- Residential job: Live in Cheshire Homes, Bangalore

**Responsibilities**:
Key Job responsibilities are:

- Work as a team with other Matrons
- Work with other staff for duties related to the children
- Handle hospital visits with children
- Coordinate tasks and communicate with the educational institutes where the children study
- Attend to medical emergencies
- Follow defined processes of Cheshire Homes Bangalore Unit

**Attitude**
- Compassionate, caring and understand the children
- Should be disciplined and polite
- Should be a team player
