ob Description: Interior Draftsman

Position Overview: An Interior Draftsman, also known as an Interior Designer or Interior CAD Technician, plays a crucial role in the field of interior design by creating detailed technical drawings and plans that bring design concepts to life. The Interior Draftsman collaborates closely with interior designers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accurate and precise representations of interior spaces. They utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and traditional drafting techniques to produce architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:Collaborate with interior designers and architects to understand project requirements, objectives, and design concepts.
Translate conceptual designs into accurate and detailed technical drawings, incorporating all necessary elements such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Analyze and assess space utilization, functionality, and compliance with building codes and regulations.

CAD Drafting and Documentation:Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, to create 2D and 3D drawings and models.
Produce detailed interior drawings, including furniture layouts, lighting plans, reflected ceiling plans, millwork details, and material specifications.
Generate accurate and organized construction documents, including schedules, notes, and annotations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Material and Product Research:Conduct research to identify appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures for interior design projects.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to gather information on product specifications, availability, and pricing.
Assist in the selection of materials, colors, and furnishings that align with design concepts and client preferences.

Project Coordination:Communicate effectively with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements and resolve design-related issues.
Collaborate on revisions and modifications to interior drawings and plans based on client feedback or changing project specifications.
Support the project team in ensuring timely completion of deliverables, adhering to project schedules and budget constraints.

Quality Control and Documentation:Conduct thorough reviews of drawings, models, and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design intent and industry standards.
Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revision logs, design libraries, and drawing archives.
Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, such as renderings and visualizations, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong technical drawing and drafting skills, including 2D and 3D visualization.
- Knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, and building codes and regulations.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings and documents.
- Familiarity with materials, finishes, and fixtures commonly used in interior design.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in interior design and drafting.

**Salary**: ₹10,300.53 - ₹20,000.00 per month
