**Introduction**
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients' success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. **Your Role and Responsibilities**
System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a System Admin with IBM, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data

You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role

**Responsibilities**:

- This role is an individual contributor responsible for on-site installation, maintenance and repair of IBM logo hardware, software and operating systems.
- Primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and/or software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client.
- Advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may impact product performance or impair client's IT operation.
- Perform services activities such as systems assurance, installation planning, account management, systems-level problem determination, discontinuance and relocation of IBM systems and products.
- Accountable to ensure a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery, technical support and operational services for the client account(s).
- When critical situations occur, will be the IBM technical interface to clients and manage the situation until the problem is fixed.
- Needs to have a thorough understanding of, and are able to articulate, IBM's technical support strategy.
- Experience on cloud, OSS, Redhat Linux will be preferred
- Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Min 1-2 years of experience with experience in the following areas:

- Specialist skills on PowerSystems/PowerVM
- AIX installation/Upgradation/Patch Management
- NIM based installation and administration
- LVM, FileSystem and NFS Management
- Storage Attachment and multi-pathing Configuration
- LPAR Creation and Administration
- Resource Management and DLPAR operations
- Basic concept of VIO
- Trouble shooting any problem and its data collection
- Raise and track Service Requests with IBM/OEM.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Good knowledge of Power hardware, AIX troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of LVM & Storage Subsystems. AIX Certification are preferred.
