Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing dictations from physicians and other healthcare professionals into well-organized medical reports. Your role will involve adhering to specific formatting guidelines, editing reports for clarity and accuracy, and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

- Listen to recorded dictations from physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Transcribe dictations into accurate and well-organized medical reports.
- Adhere to specific formatting and documentation guidelines as per company standards and industry regulations.
- Edit transcribed reports for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensure the accuracy of medical terminology, diagnoses, procedures, and patient information.
- Utilize transcription equipment and software to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Manage workloads effectively to meet transcription deadlines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and healthcare records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify unclear or inaudible dictations and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Excellent listening and typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with transcription equipment and software (e.g., foot pedals, transcription software).
- Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and formatting conventions.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and clarify dictations.

Education and Certification:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a medical transcription training program or certification preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

- Weekend availability
