- **Menu Planning and Development**: Collaborating with the head chef to plan and develop Chinese-inspired dishes that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
- **Food Preparation**: Expertise in preparing a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodle dishes, dim sum, soups, and sauces. This includes proficiency in cutting, slicing, marinating, and cooking ingredients to perfection.
- **Ingredient Knowledge**: Deep understanding of Chinese ingredients, seasonings, and cooking techniques. This includes knowledge of different types of rice, noodles, sauces (such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce), spices (like ginger, garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns), and proteins (such as chicken, pork, beef, seafood, and tofu).
- **Execution and Presentation**: Ensuring that dishes are prepared and presented according to established standards for taste, texture, and visual appeal. Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining consistency and quality.
