- Mentor teams on process improvements and best practice in area of expertise
- Promote a culture of CI and ensuring all process are detailed
- Deliver the people plan for the function
- Support the business to have the right resource in the right place at the right time including recruitment; crafting and leading talent pools; leadership development; succession planning; building capability and employee engagement
- Lead the delivery of the colleague lifecycle e.g. new starters; leavers; moves and payroll
- Act as a trusted partner for sensitive or complex People issues
- Lead on the people elements of change programmes
- Use data and metrics to provide People insight to the business to advise judgment and decision making
- Advise on escalated cases from Advisors or the business services team & build capability to enable individuals to self-serve for future cases
- Understand the external commercial environment and be able to identify threats and opportunities
- Provide an independent voice which balances both colleague and business needs
