**Responsibilities**:

- Perform blasting, painting, hull washing, scraping, and protection tasks as assigned.
- Conduct various blasting techniques including hydro blasting, grit blasting, and garnet blasting.
- Utilize painting methods in diverse work areas such as hulls, decks, tanks, and confined spaces.
- Prepare surfaces for blasting and painting by scraping, de-sludging, and degreasing.
- Identify and report defects, and request spare parts as needed.
- Mix paints, monitor pot life, and ensure proper curing time.
- Maintain painting equipment and conduct pre-work equipment checks.
- Manage Cherry Picker operation and support other yard activities as required.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Knowledge of ships, including technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in marine coating and blasting techniques.
- Familiarity with hydro blasting equipment and associated risks.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and technical manuals.

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
- Marine: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Cochin, Kerala (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Cochin, Kerala: Relocate before starting work (required)
