Position Overview:
The Hospital Administration Faculty member plays a pivotal role in educating and preparing future healthcare leaders in hospital management and administration. This position involves developing curriculum, delivering instruction, conducting research, and providing mentorship to students pursuing degrees in healthcare administration. The faculty member collaborates with healthcare organizations and industry partners to ensure the program's relevance and effectiveness in addressing current healthcare challenges and trends.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development:

- Develop and update curriculum, course materials, and learning resources for hospital administration courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
- Incorporate case studies, simulations, and experiential learning opportunities to enhance student engagement and prepare them for real-world challenges in healthcare management.

Instructional Delivery:

- Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops on topics such as healthcare finance, healthcare policy, healthcare quality management, strategic planning, and healthcare information systems.
- Foster an interactive and participatory learning environment, encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills among students.

Student Mentorship:

- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students pursuing degrees or certificates in hospital administration.
- Support students in identifying internships, practicum experiences, and networking opportunities to gain hands-on experience in healthcare organizations.

Research and Scholarship:

- Conduct scholarly research in areas relevant to hospital administration, healthcare management, and healthcare policy.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in healthcare administration.

Industry Collaboration:

- Collaborate with healthcare organizations, hospital administrators, and industry associations to develop partnerships, internships, and job placement opportunities for students.
- Organize guest lectures, panel discussions, and site visits to expose students to diverse perspectives and best practices in hospital administration.

Professional Development:

- Stay current with developments in healthcare management, healthcare policy, and healthcare technology through continuous learning, professional development activities, and participation in relevant conferences and seminars.
- Maintain professional certifications and affiliations with healthcare management associations to enhance credibility and expertise in the field.

Program Assessment and Improvement:

- Participate in program assessment and accreditation activities, including curriculum review, student learning outcomes assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Solicit feedback from students, alumni, and industry partners to identify areas for program enhancement and innovation.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
