As a RedSeal UX/UI Designer you will collaborate broadly to define the user experience and develop a variety of design artifacts (wireframes, icons, etc.) as needed to communicate UX design vision to team members. You will leverage existing UI standards, patterns and libraries, consider business and technology constraints while remaining a faithful and effective advocate for the customer's needs and goals.

**Responsibilities**

In this role, you will:

- Design new features and product improvements with a user-centered design approach.
- Translate technical concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Work with the product team on discovery and design projects from their inception to concepts and well-defined experiences.
- Build and update design systems to ensure a cohesive and holistic product experience.
- Work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Create high fidelity designs and prototypes to validate concepts and solutions with customers and business stakeholders.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- 5+ of UX/UI Design experience, utilizing user-centered design (UCD).
- Expertise in standard UX/UI software, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and the like.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- Strong interaction and UX design skills - The ability to analyze complex real-world scenarios to design intuitive workflows with a focus on ease-of-use, best practices and simplicity.
- Natural desire to conduct user research - Curiosity about our competitors, our core users and their needs.
- Integrate insight from continuous research to inform design decisions using sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Solid visual and UI design skills - Keen eye for visual design quality and a high personal bar for hitting the details. Keep abreast of design trends.
- Experience in creating, customizing, and evolving design systems and interactive components in Figma.
- Adaptable to changing requirements and the ability to multi-task and prioritize and reprioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to iterate quickly on feedback, present and articulate context and thought process behind design decisions.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and to drive closure of issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, as demonstrated by empathizing, listening, obtaining clarification, responding well to questions and participating in meetings.
- Experience working with startups and/or smaller teams in Agile/SCRUM environments.
- Compelling online portfolio, website or project that demonstrates your work and initiative.
