Bengaluru, India CGI Full time

Minimum 7 years of experience in remote infrastructure management and backup infrastructure administration
- 6+ years working experience in VEEAM backup environment
- Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L-2 team
- Ability to manage physical tape librarieis, tape management, offsite tape management, aux copy management from disk to tapes, tape vaulting, AWS and Azure disk management.
- Analyze Change Request; review change requests with the client & stake holders; validate the information and execute - High complexity; Critical & Emergency Changes

Ability in managing VEEAM backups for VMs and O365. DR replications.
- Participate in Problem Management review meetings and provide root cause analysis
- Ability to handle and drive Incident Review bridges by identifying potential Problems; recommend solutions to be implemented
- Responsible for SLA compliance
- Should possess work experience on migration/upgradation projects
- Basic knowledge on scripting and automation
- Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders Good knowledge on ITIL process
- Vendor management experience
- ability to produce quotes and manage procurmeent requests for client with client and vendor teams.
- Experience with SIP plan and execution
- Tailoring and supporting backup (Consolidation & Virtualization, Data Migration and Data Protection) solutions to meet the needs of the client.
- Should have carried out formal knowledge management initiatives to upskill the team
- Ability to design HA, DR & Replication Solutions.
- Good at Capacity forecast and management.
- Good documentation skills
- Technical Certification is preferred and and will be considered with weightage
- Possess ITIL certification
- On call schedule and week end change schedule participation
- Ready to work at night shift (EST timezone) and flexible for other hours

Project specific Details

Must have knowledge on VEEAM Backup tools with min. 7 years relavant experience

Good to have CommVault and BackupsExec backup tool knowledge
- Ability to manage physical tape librarieis, tape management, offsite tape management, aux copy management from disk to tapes, tape vaulting, AWS and Azure disk management.
- Disk library capacity management and ensure healthy backups and healthy tape vaulting.
- ability to produce quotes and manage procurmeent requests for client with client and vendor teams.
- Risk and issue management in backup environment
- Good to have ITIL certification and BMC remedy / ServiceNow knowledge.
