Draftman

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to produce accurate technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on project requirements.
- Interpret and transform rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into clear and concise technical drawings, using drafting software and manual techniques.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and precision.
- Revise and update drawings as necessary, incorporating changes and feedback from project stakeholders.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models to aid in visualization and comprehension of design concepts.
- Generate bill of materials (BOM) and other relevant documentation to support procurement and construction processes.
- Assist in coordinating and communicating with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to facilitate project progress.
- Maintain a well-organized archive of drawings and documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and access for future reference.
- Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in drafting and design.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate's degree/ Diploma or equivalent certification in drafting, CAD technology, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in using drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail, with a keen eye for precision and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

**Working Conditions**:The Drafter will primarily work in an office environment, utilizing drafting software and other tools to create and manage technical drawings. Occasional site visits or meetings may be required to gather information and collaborate with project stakeholders.
