**About Commercial Banking Group**:

**About the Role**:
The Circle credit officer, a part of the Commercial Banking team in the Circle, works with the Centre Head, Credit Analyst and RMs in the Circle on credit proposals. The CCO advises Centre Heads on proposals and reviews the notes submitted by the Credit Analysts. It is the CCO’s responsibility to ensure that the notes submitted by the Credit Analyst are within the TAT, in line with the Credit policy and meeting the expectations in terms of the quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advising Centre Heads and reviewing credit proposals drafted by Credit Analysts
- Pre-sanction unit visit for certain proposals to determine valuation and credit worthiness
- Maintaining TAT for NTB/enhancement proposals
- Ensuring timely review and submission of status notes, stale ratings, etc.
- Timely submission of replies to queries from Audit teams
- Transaction structuring and working on high value NTB along with RMs
- Ensuring Review/Renewal within due date for the Circle
- Exit/upgrade of accounts based on early warning signals

**Qualifications**:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

- Post Graduates/Graduates/CAs
- Good academic background
- Experience in a credit environment

**Role Proficiencies**:

- Good understanding of credit appraisal and financial analysis
- Good communication (both verbal and written) skills in both English and the local language
