Responsibilities:

- Solar PV System Design: Design and cost solar PV system layouts for rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants. Select system components, integrate them, and determine their sizing for optimal performance.
- Off-Grid and On-Grid Design: Design off-grid and on-grid solar systems for both rooftop and ground-mounted installations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Engineering Drawings and Layouts: Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), PvSyst reports, engineering drawings (panel diagrams, connection drawings, module placement, cable and conduit routing, inverter sizing), and layouts for solar PV systems.
- Shadow and Shading Analysis: Utilize computer-aided software to conduct shadow and shading analysis. Optimize system layouts to maximize solar energy generation.
- Sizing and Integration: Determine the sizing of solar arrays, inverters, AC and DC cables, string combiner boxes, and earthing systems. Ensure proper integration and compatibility of system components.
- Costing and Estimation: Perform costing and estimation of solar power plants. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical proposals for clients.
- Electrical Design: Create electrical line diagrams, panel schedules, connection diagrams, and system layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Review and Sign-off: Ensure all layouts and drawings are reviewed and signed-off by the client and the Vice-President in coordination with the technical and business development teams before site execution.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide technical support to marketing and technical teams in troubleshooting and solving technical problems related to solar PV systems.
- Site Survey: Accompany the business development team for site surveys, particularly for projects above 50 kW in capacity.
- Planning Reports: Prepare various planning reports as required by the management.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in designing and costing solar PV system layouts.
Strong knowledge of off-grid and on-grid solar systems for rooftop and ground-mounted installations.
Proficiency in designing SLDs, PvSyst reports, engineering drawings, and system layouts using CAD software.
Experience with shadow and shading analysis using computer-aided software.
Familiarity with sizing solar arrays, inverters, cables, and other system components.
Ability to perform costing and estimation of solar power plants, prepare BOQs, and technical proposals.
Excellent understanding of electrical design principles and standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to accompany the business development team for site surveys.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software.
