**Job: Associate Database Administrator**

**Key Skills: Oracle 11g/12c/18c/19c, Standby/Dataguard, RAC, RMAN, Database cloning, replication, OEM - 11g/12c/13c.**

**Experience: 4+years**

**Qualifications: B.E/ B.Tech/ BSc/ Graduation**

**Job Location: Mumbai/Bangalore**

**Required Skills**:

- 4+ years of Oracle DBA or equivalent experience on administrating and managing Oracle 11g-19c Database versions on Linux/Solaris/AIX/Windows systems
- Expert Level experience with Oracle 19c upgrades with near zero downtime for multi-TB mission critical systems
- Strong experience in installing, up-grading, and configuring the Enterprise Manager 13c Cloud Control on various platforms with different types of installations
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and fine tuning the databases/queries for optimal performances.
- Expert Level experience with Oracle Dataguard and Active Dataguard
- Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in ASM & RAC database servers.
- Hands on experience on OEM - 11g/12c/13c
- Expert Level experience with Oracle database data centre migrations and upgradations.
- Expert Level experience in PSU/CPU patching process on standalone/RAC servers.
- Experience in implementation of Oracle partitioning, table re-organization and redefinition.
- Experience in cross platform database migrations.
- Strong experience in Database refreshes/ cloning
- Strong experience on multitenant database management and maintenances.
- Expert Level experience Database upgrade and patching methodologies.
- Expert in database and system level tuning, ability to review all Oracle and like system performance reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports)
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix technical scripting and utilities
- Experience in monitoring of CPU and Memory Utilization, identifying top SQL sessions, long running queries from OEM, and troubleshooting of various performance issues.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience in on-premises to AWS cloud migration (EC2/RDS)
- Working knowledge of Oracle Multitenant Architecture (CDB/PDB) on Oracle 12C/18C/19C platforms
- Working knowledge of Oracle Transparent Data Encryption
- Working knowledge of Oracle Data Masking
- Knowledge of DB Security viz. AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of replication technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate, Amazon Database Migration Service etc
- Working knowledge of project management concepts.
- Strong Decision-making and leadership abilities
- Good Documentation skills.
- Good understanding of escalation handling and the customer support process.
- Experience in scripting - Unix, Perl, and Python
- Prepared to work in shifts as per the demands of our US customers and willingness to be on-call 24x7
- AWS/OCP/OCE/OCI certified DBAs are preferred.
