We are seeking a dedicated Researcher in aquaponics to join our team in Hyderabad. This individual should possess a strong background in fish seed management, water and fish health, and fish feed management, and be willing to engage in various aspects of farm management.

**Position Overview**:
As a Researcher at Ponicone, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our aquaponics farm. Your expertise should encompass fish seed management, water quality, fish health, and fish feed management. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the aquaponics system to maintain its efficient operation.

**Responsibilities**:
Fish Seed Management: Oversee the sourcing, breeding, and care of fish seed to maintain a healthy and productive fish population in the aquaponics system.

Water and Fish Health: Monitor and maintain water quality parameters, including oxygen levels, pH, and ammonia, and ensure the overall health of the fish population.

Fish Feed Management: Develop and implement strategies for feeding fish, optimizing feeding schedules, and ensuring proper nutrition.

Vertical Farming: Collaborate with the farm management team to integrate fish and plant growth efficiently within the aquaponics system.

Disease Management: Implement preventive measures and effective disease management strategies for the fish population.

Grading Scheduling: Plan and execute schedules for grading fish, ensuring a consistent supply of quality fish for the market.

Farm Visits: Conduct regular visits to the aquaponics farm to assess the performance of the fish population and address issues as they arise.

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to fish health, water quality, and feed management to improve the overall efficiency of the system.

Communication: Collaborate with the farm management team, including the plant side, and communicate findings, challenges, and potential solutions effectively.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in aquaculture, fisheries science, or a related field.

Extensive knowledge and practical experience in aquaponics, with a focus on fish seed management, water quality, fish health, and feed management.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage fish diseases in the aquaponic system.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach to farm management.

Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities and farm visits as needed.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
