Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Support Engineer - Level 3 to provide comprehensive technical support for our Cisco Business Edition 6000 (M6) Appliance, Intel-based server infrastructure, Cisco Catalyst C8300-2N2S-6T Router, and associated components. This critical role will ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our network and server systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Hardware Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine hardware checks, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for the Cisco Business Edition 6000 (M6) Appliance and associated components, including the Intel 4310T processor, 12G SAS RAID Controller, 600GB SAS HDD, and Cisco UCS 1050W AC Power Supply.
- Address hardware issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operation.
- **Software and Virtualization Support**:

- Preventatively manage and monitor the software environment, ensuring compliance with export restrictions and proper handling of virtualization software licenses.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve software-related issues and perform necessary updates or patches.
- **Networking Support**:

- Provide expert-level support for the Cisco Catalyst C8300-2N2S-6T Router, ensuring optimal network performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring seamless communication across the infrastructure.
- **Security Compliance**:

- Maintain and validate security features, including TPM 2.0, TCG, FIPS140-2, and CC EAL4+ certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- **VMware vSphere Management**:

- Manage and maintain the VMware vSphere 7 Std virtualization environment, including license management, configuration, and support for UCS servers.
- Collaborate with the IT team to optimize virtualization resources for maximum efficiency.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Keep detailed records of hardware and software configurations, changes, and issues.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- **Collaboration and Training**:

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users or IT staff on best practices and troubleshooting procedures.
- **Adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)**:

- Ensure timely response and resolution of support tickets in accordance with SLAs.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders regarding ongoing issues, resolutions, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in supporting Cisco networking equipment, Intel-based servers, and VMware virtualization environments.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, and relevant hardware certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**: Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per day
