Key Responsibilities:

- **Equipment Maintenance**: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for têxtile production machinery, including looms, dyeing machines, printing equipment, and finishing lines. Schedule routine maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- **Troubleshooting and Repairs**: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with production equipment. Coordinate with maintenance technicians to perform repairs and replacements of faulty components in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal disruption to production schedules.
- **Work Order Management**: Generate and prioritize work orders for maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality, production schedules, and safety considerations. Allocate resources and manpower efficiently to address maintenance needs across multiple production lines.
- **Inventory Management**: Maintain inventory levels of spare parts, consumables, and maintenance supplies. Coordinate with procurement teams to procure spare parts and equipment components as needed while optimizing inventory costs and lead times.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, equipment specifications, and industry standards. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to mitigate risks.
- **Training and Development**: Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development to enhance the competency and effectiveness of the maintenance team.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts usage. Generate maintenance reports and performance metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment uptime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and maintenance costs.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement in maintenance workflows. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to streamline maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
- **Vendor Management**: Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers for specialized maintenance services, equipment repairs, and spare parts procurement. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies outside of regular working hours. Coordinate emergency repairs and troubleshooting efforts to restore production operations as quickly as possible while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the têxtile or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in têxtile production equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and condition monitoring technologies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance standards applicable to industrial maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order management and asset tracking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
