**Role Summary**:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for collaborating with end-users, business users, and business analysts to document requirements and incorporate user needs into analysis methodology. You will create proposal decks, business requirement documents, and project progress decks for clients, as well as provide presentations to the leadership and clients. You will lead a team of data engineers and data scientists, working across multiple use cases, creating project timelines and communication plans, managing and tracking project status using JIRA, and following Agile project management methodologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with end-users, business users, and business analysts to document requirements and incorporate user needs into analysis methodology.
- Create proposal decks, business requirement documents, and project progress decks for clients, as well as provide presentations to the leadership and clients.
- Lead a team of data engineers and data scientists, working across multiple use cases, creating project timelines and communication plans, and managing and tracking projects.
- Formulate, suggest, and manage data-driven projects that further the business's interests.
- Delegate tasks to data engineers and data analysts to realize the successful completion of projects.
- Select and employ advanced statistical procedures, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms to obtain actionable insights.
- Suggest ways in which insights obtained might be used to inform business strategies.
- Stay informed about developments in Data Science and adjacent fields to ensure that outputs are always relevant.

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Proven experience in data analysis, data mining, and predictive analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and R.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
- knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical skills (quick comprehension, abstract thinking, recognize relationships).
- Ability to be a strong team member and communicate effectively.
- Capability to prioritize and multi-task, and reasonably estimate work effort for tasks.
- Excellent English in spoken and written.

**Knowledge, Education and Work Experience**:

- 3-5 years of work-related experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.
