**Basic Job Profile**

We are looking for a motivated and experienced DGM (Commodity Purchase) to join our team who will be responsible for all commercial activities ie: purchase of commodity for Grain Based Distillery (2 Units) and Edible Oil Unit Located at Sangat Kalan, Bathinda. Analyze our current buying systems and create the best methods for day-to-day purchasing operations. Be responsible for overseeing the commercial department, establishing Buyer goals based on corporate inventory needs and sales projections. A skilled negotiator with previous experience in manufacturing industry will be preferred.

**Duties & Responsibility**
- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business.
- Manage the company’s day-to-day commercial activities and ensure that all vendors are meeting their personal performance standards.
- Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes.
- Look for profitable suppliers and develop long term relationships with them.
- Negotiate with vendors on reasonable terms and approve the order of required goods and services.
- Prepare and maintain periodic reports for management on purchase, controls and processes.
- Collaborate with the staff to ensure that the operations run smoothly.
- Build a culture of long term savings on procurement cost.
- Maintaining records and documents on inventory.
- Implementation of strategies and policies related to purchasing in favour of the business.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent in relevant field.
- Proven working experience as a Procurement/Purchasing Manager or relevant role.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Outstanding decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Location: BCL HO Bathinda (Punjab)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
